While I was visiting Mom
every day, I could come home
only around 9 p.m.
Nana was alone at home
all through the years
for nearly 7 years.
She would sit on the lid of the bathtub
and sing a song for me
while I was taking a bath.
It was a beautiful vibrato
with her tongue rolled up
as if to soothe me.
Now that I am at home every day,
she doesn’t sing a song
but just relaxes on my lap.
Peaceful and graceful days!
Hope it will last forever…
