The theme of the homily
on Pentecost Sunday
was something like:
Surrender to the
Tenderness of God’s Love.

I felt it was from the book:
“Franciscan Prayer”
written by Ilia Delio,
the one I am translating now!

What a coincidence!
The theme of a Sunday sermon
and that of the book I am reading now.

Since it is a foreign language,
the English sermon usually
sounds like BGM,
but not this time!

It comes to my heart
through my ears so clearly
like a divine whisper.

Who is whispering?
The Holy Spirit?
Yes, through a priest
on Pentecost Sunday!
